Format:
Binge started out as a traditional web comic. Soon the potental for an animated series became obvious. Dark off-beat humor delivered by disturbingly real characters. The style of the comic evolved into a script and storyboard art to facilitate the animation production. Rough black and white sketches with crafted dialogue play out the show in the viewer's mind. The internet is a perfect medium for finding the BiNGE audience. Smart observations of human nature, political satire and a mature humor will fuel the spread of laughter. Once BiNGE is produced into an animated show it will turn the table on what cartoons are supose to be like. It's too original to say "It's like so and so..."

Reality:
If a common theme had to be stamped onto the storyline, it would be addictions. Don't expect a self-righteous recovery drama. Binge lampoons addictions and dysfunction of every type. The characters and story line parody BiNGE's creator's life and friendships. Located in a fictitious Jersey shore town of Keysburg Beach NJ, the town itself lampoons Asbury Park NJ. Made famous by Bruce Springsteen, many of the same landmarks appear in the comic. Grungy abandoned boardwalk businesses, palm readers and sleazy adult entertainment establishments create a surreal and dark landscape. Making his way thru the urban beachfront, a hapless artist finds himself in the middle of misadventures. The four main characters are based on four very real people in the artist's life. In many ways, BiNGE is more real than most "reality shows."

Product:
For almost five years Eric T Styles has devoted all of his free time, creative energies and passions to this project. A constant state of evolution has resulted in a thick volume of material. A total of twelve half hour scripts have been written, six of which are storyboarded and available on artbystyles.com. Characters with extensive backgrounds, histories, web pages as well as rough animantics. T shirts and coffee mugs are available as well as sales of the original artwork.

Creators:
The current staff of Bedsoar Media Graphics (yes, that's the real name) consist of artist / writer Eric T. Styles, editor and word czar John Tuttle, and preproduction coordinator Aaron Keating. We're still not sure exactly what Aaron does other than post bail money for the artist. Recently voice talent have been stepping forward to contribute time and talent.

Objective:
No one can truly plan the next "cult favorite." Trying to formulate one will lead to failure. Instead of attempting to construct everybody's favorite, Styles is creating from the heart. A personal look at his world and his life thru his art. The next evolutionary step in his creation will be animated shorts for the viral internet audience. An audience searching for something fresh and deeper than the average internet video. The time is right for a good Binge.
